The Mission of Our Camp
The Children of Mary Religion Camp is a one-week resident experience in Christian living. We live, play, pray, and study together so as to deepen our Catholic faith and live it more fully while having a whole lot of fun in a highly-supervised, safe environment. We exist to serve Catholic children from rural parishes by giving them the opportunity to live, learn, and play in a nurturing Catholic community.
Facilities And Location
The camp is held at Camp York in Kings Mountain State Park, located in Blacksburg, SC (just southwest of Charlotte on the South Carolina/North Carolina state line). At this former Civilian Conservation Corps facility, each cabin houses 2- 4 campers along with two counselors
Religion Program
Each morning, campers will meet as a group to be introduced to the daily theme through interactive songs, skits, and symbols. Campers will break into groups by grade level to complete activities and prepare for services.

Campers and counselors love to receive mail while at camp! If you would like to send a package or letter to your child at camp, please send it to the address below. In order for it to arrive on time, many parents like to send mail immediately before or during the first half of the week of camp. Campers also often like to send letters back home to their families, so we encourage you to send your child with stationary and pre-stamped, pre-addressed envelopes if they would like to do so.

About Us
The Children of Mary Religion Camp LLC is a private, non-profit organization based in South Carolina. For 50 years, we have sponsored a one-week resident summer camp for the purpose of educating children in the Roman Catholic faith tradition.
The Children of Mary Camp is governed by a Board of Directors and includes a member from the Diocese of Charleston who serves as Episcopal Moderator
Charity Status
The Children of Mary Camp is a not-for-profit, charitable organization formed under Section 501(c)3 of the US Internal Revenue Code. The Camp is also registered as a Public Charity with the South Carolina Secretary of State.
We are also recognized in The Official Catholic Directory as a miscellaneous institution located in the Diocese of Charleston.
